DESCRIPTION:Join the Rutgers Doctor of Physical Therapy Students for a gross motor skills exercise playgroup for children. This playgroup provides a fun and active environment where kids can develop essential physical abilities through play. Activities such as jumping\, crawling\, climbing\, running\, and balancing help strengthen large muscle groups\, improve coordination\, and build confidence. The playgroup encourages social interaction and teamwork while supporting physical development in a safe\, inclusive\, engaging setting tailored to young children’s needs. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDuring the gross motor playgroup\, parents have the opportunity to connect and engage in a casual meet-up while observing their children participate in various physical activities. The relaxed environment encourages open conversation\, fostering a sense of community and strengthening relationships among families. \n\n\n\n\nThis playgroup is recommended for ages 9 and under.
