Sleep Like a Baby: Practical Sleep Tips for Parents of Children with Down Syndrome
Has sleep been difficult for your child with Down syndrome? You are not alone, and help is here! Sleep problems are common. For those with Down syndrome, sleep can be even more difficult and consequences can affect parents and other areas of everyday life. During this 60-minute talk, psychology researchers from Drexel University share their expertise on sleep in Down syndrome. Specifically, they will review sleep challenges specific to the Down syndrome community, their relations to everyday functioning, and practical strategies that anyone can use to address these concerns. The presentation will conclude with a live Q&A, and attendees are encouraged to sign up and send in their questions about sleep in advance using the link below so that the speakers can address specific areas of concern:
